UV-Lamps

In industrial applications, UV lamp heads are used for the curing of special  UV reactive laquers, adhesives, printing inks, silicones or the like.                                                                                             Our UV lamp heads are produced exclusively for PrintConcept. They are aligned optimally on or UV-systems and guerantee highest efficiency.

We normally deliver our systems with medium-pressure mercury-arc lamps.The mercury-arc lamp is a electric discharge lamp filled with mercury vapour. Because of the low vapour pressure, the lamp head always contains an inert gas in addition to the quicksilver.

 The mercury-arc lamps optimally cover the wavelength range needed for the UV-pressure. In order to cover another range, you need lamps that are doped differently. But that‘s no problem. The manufacturer of our lamp heads produces UV lamps according to your requests, for example doped with Iron or Gallium.  

UV lamp heads are subject to natural abrasion. 

The actual deterioration of a lamp head depends on factors such as connecting frequency and combustion time, operating voltage, operating temperature, outside influences such as fouling or impairment of the cooling system etc. In any case, we issue a guerantee of six months or 1000 operating hours on UV lamp heads.

Disposal: UV lamp heads contain quicksilver and must therefore be disposed professionally.

We will deal with it. Simply send our lamps back to us after usage.
